Buju’s ticket sales to help uplift communities

Reggae superstars Buju Banton and Stephen Marley are turning their latest musical collaboration into a mission of giving back, with a portion of every ticket sold for their Roots And Rhymes US Summer Tour 2026 going towards charitable causes.

For every ticket purchased, US$2 will be donated to community initiatives — with US$1 supporting the Ghetto Youths Foundation, founded by Stephen, Damian and Julian Marley, and the other US$1 benefiting the Buju Banton Foundation, established by Buju Banton.

The donation initiative adds a humanitarian dimension to the highly anticipated tour, which celebrates Jamaican music, culture and the legacy of reggae, while supporting programmes aimed at uplifting communities.

The Roots And Rhymes US Summer Tour 2026 marks the first time Buju Banton and Stephen Marley have joined forces for a full-scale tour. The reggae giants are being joined on select dates by Gramps Morgan, while DJ Splackavelli provides additional energy throughout the performances.

The tour comes as Buju celebrates the release of his 13th studio album, Too Too Bad, released through Gargamel Music Inc and VP Records.

The 13-track project sees the Grammy-winning artiste embracing reggae’s roots while exploring contemporary sounds. The album features collaborations with international stars, including DJ Khaled on Wild Woman, Ari Lennox on Satisfy Me, and Gramps Morgan on Power.

For Buju, the release represents a major milestone, as it marks his first album with The Roots And Rhymes tour kicked off at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, and will conclude on July 25 at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
